Teaching Assistants

Primary position in North East

Due to high demand STC Consortium Limited is seeking qualified Level 2 and Level 3 Teaching Assistants to work in schools across the North East to cover day to day and long term absences.

Experience of working with young children and in supporting teachers with everyday work in the classroom is preferred but we will also consider those teaching assistants who have recently qualified.

Typical duties expected would be:

Preparing the classroom for lessons

Listening to children read of reading to them

Helping teachers to plan learning activities

Helping with school trips and outings

Supervising group activities
